Rachael Zuppke is a Research and Engagement Strategist with the Better Government Lab, supporting research initiatives and translating findings into actionable resources for government and civic technology partners. Before joining BGL, she spent years at Legal Services of South Central Michigan, providing direct support to clients navigating the legal system and public benefit programs including food assistance, health insurance, and disability benefits. In addition to her work at BGL, Rachael consults with legal practitioners and institutions, applying user-research methods and design to improve legal information for the public. She holds a Master of Science in Information and a Bachelor of Fine Arts, both from the University of Michigan.
