Better Government Lab
Stacy Che is a research fellow at the Better Government Lab, where she applies web scraping, natural language processing, machine learning, and geospatial analysis to study public service delivery and government accountability. She recently earned her M.S. in Data Science and Analytics from Georgetown University, where her studies focused on using computational methods to analyze public institutions, social equity, and large-scale text data. At BGL, Stacy contributes to the Lab’s Administrative Desert project, which examines how access to essential government services varies across communities. Stacy is especially interested in how data-driven tools can identify service disparities, improve transparency, and support more equitable access to public institutions.
