Stephanie Tepper is an Assistant Research Professor at the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University and a Portfolio Director for the Better Government Lab. She conducts applied research to advance equitable access to government programs, especially related to economic opportunity and well-being. Before joining the Better Government Lab, Stephanie was a researcher at the Office of Evaluation Sciences in the federal government, where she led high-impact evaluations on public benefits delivery, community safety, government modernization, and small business development. She earned her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Cornell University in 2023.
